Rihanna Premieres "James Joint" Interlude: Listen Now!
OMG, she had just talked about this on the V Magazine interview that was published today online…talk about quickness!
Pop star Rihanna used her official website to premiere the 1 minute-long interlude “James Joint” which is one of the many that will appear on her upcoming eighth studio album, out “soon” Roc Nation.
“In celebration of 420, here's an interlude from my 8th studio album that I call James Joint”, wrote RiRi on Rihannanow.com. “420” is a punctual moment (either 4:20pm, or April 20) at which cannabis users celebrate their love for the illicit drug, and since “James Joint” is about marijuana cigarette…it was only fitting. The only thing though is that Rihanna messed it up. She unveiled the audio at 3:20pm NYC time, and she also missed the day; as today is April 21. Anyhow, incorrect release timing or now, “James Joint” is new music from “R8” and we appreciate it.
“James Joint” may be inspired by an awful habit but RiRi’s vocals are amazing. So I have to like this interlude.
