Madonna, U2 & AC/DC To Perform at 2015 Grammys? Exciting!

What if it’s true? It's just been reported that Madonna, U2 and even rock legends of AC/DC will perform at the 2015 Grammys – to air in early February - although no official statement has been released yet. This information has been produced by HitsDailyDouble.com, and they're a pretty reliable source. As I said, the Grammy bosses haven’t confirmed any performers yet but don't be surprised to see the three aforementioned when the line-up is made public very soon.

"Nothing official yet, but the word from sources in inside the Recording Academy is that AC/DC, Madonna and U2 have been booked to perform on the Grammys. Each December, executive producer Ken Ehrlich makes an all-out effort to confirm a handful of performers for the show prior to the holiday break, during which it’s difficult to get hold of pretty much anyone in a position of authority, and these three perennial draws are precisely the kind of act Ehrlich would typically approach."

Madonna is the least surprising one from this 3-performer list for me. After the terrible damage the leaks have made to her upcoming album "Rebel Heart" (still scheduled for release in March), the queen of pop and her record label are just obliged to promote the lead single “Living for Love” on ALL major TV shows in America before March comes, and the Grammys ceremony is one of them.

When was the last time we saw Madonna performing on television? Was it that “Same Love” performance at the Grammys this year? It’s been so long then! She may just have been an "accessory" to the Macklemore performance back then, but next year she's going to do it solo at the Grammys, and re-watching her Superbowl spectacle, I know she’s going to slay big time.

AC/DC will be active next year thanks to world tour so no surprise the Grammy executives decided to ring them up, and no surprise from U2 either. The Bono-led band released “Songs of Innocence” only a few months ago and it is nominated for “Best Rock Album”, a category that I very much think U2 will win. The album is pretty good, there's not really much strong competition in the category and you just know having Bono on camera boosts the ratings. Yeah, they will make U2 win FOR SURE.

Who can't you wait see perform?
