Katy Perry Falls Off Stage In Concert + Gets Sued Over 'Dark Horse'
This has not been a good week for Katy Perry. Not
only did she almost break her ankle this week but she's also being taken to
court over alleged plagiarism in 'Dark Horse'.
Where to start? Yeah, the ankle thing! Katy was singing the bridge to ‘Walking On Air’ during her ‘Prismatic Tour’ concert in Tampa, Florida on Monday, June 30, when suddenly she fell OFF stage! Like literally falling on the fans' heads!! ...who then helped Katy get back on the catwalk. It was so bad! But at least there was something positive coming out of this incident, and that’s that Katy sings LIVE.
Yesterday, it was reported that Katy Perry, Dr.
Luke and anyone who is responsible in the creation of the chart-topping hit ‘Dark Horse’ has been sued by Christian hip-hop musicians Flame. The
Flame’s “Joyful Noise” was written in 2007 and
released in 2008. The song received a 2008 Gospel Music Association Dove Award
nomination for the best rap/hip-hop song.
THAT BEAT! Sounds familiar, huh?
