Zara Larsson’s Cover Of Drake & Rihanna’s “Too Good” On ‘Live Lounge’ Was TOO GOOD: Watch
“Lush Life” singer Zara Larsson was invited to do a “Live Lounge” session today, September 20th, on BBC Radio 1.
Live from the London studios of the British radio station, the Swedish pop diva performed “acoustic” renditions of her new single “Ain’t My Fault” and Drake and Rihanna’s “Too Good” - which she chose as her ‘mystery cover’; something the “Live Lounge” bosses always oblige artists to do.
I personally wasn’t too impressed by Zara’s “Ain’t My Fault” Live Lounge rendition, mainly because it didn’t really acoustic, which is the whole point of the “Live Lounge” sessions - plus every performance of this song is going require an amazing choreography for me. And since she didn’t do that today, I was not amused.
However, Zara did slay her “Too Good” cover. It was literally TOO GOOD. This she did do acoustically, and I just loved how the song sounded with her voice. She gave it a new color and a new vibe.
Totally going rip the audio from this performance video to add to my phone. I need to play this everywhere I go from now on!
