Zara Larsson Finally Performs “Ain’t My Fault” On US Television: Watch
Zara Larsson is finally promoting “Ain’t My Fault” in the US.
After promoting the lead single from her upcoming second studio album, yet the first for the international scene, in Australia, and Europe, the Swedish pop star touched down in the US this week to finally perform the catchy MNEK-produced trap pop song on a major US television show. Where? On NBC’s Today. She performed “Ain’t My Fault” and “Lush Life” live on the show on Monday morning (Nov. 8).
Although she fared rather well in the vocal department - considering the early hours she had to wake up for these performances - I do think this TV gig definitely could have been better with some dancing. “Ain’t My Fault”, and especially “Lush Life”, are songs that demand some sort of choreography for their performances to really slay on television/on stage. And unfortunately Zara brought zero back-up dancers with her for this ‘Today’ appearance. Next time please?
Also, it was about Zara came to US to promote “Ain’t My Fault”. As of this post, the single sits at #96 on the iTunes chart. Not that good considering Zara’s supposed to be L.A Reid’s “biggest artist” ever.
