World Premiere: Sia - "Unstoppable" [Full Audio + Review]

sia unstoppable

Even though you may be weak or hurt inside, you must always show yourself as a strong person. That’s the message of the new song “Unstoppable” that Australian singer-songwriter Sia released online today (Jan. 21). The Christopher Braide co-written synth-rock track is the latest countdown single to be lifted from Sia’s upcoming seventh studio album “This Is Acting” (a compilation of rejected Sia-penned tracks), which is out January 29th via RCA Records.

I wonder what artist did Sia send “Unstoppable” in the first place? By its lyrics and sound, my first option is that it was intended for Demi Lovato – for inclusion on “Confident”. Sia’s “Unstoppable” is everything Demi’s latest album is all about and I’m sure she would have done a great job making this song her own. People on forums are also betting that it was intended for Kelly Clarkson but I’m personally not getting KC vibes from “Unstoppable”. What do you think?

I'm unstoppable / I'm a Porsche with no brakes / I'm invincible / Yeah, I win every single game / I'm so powerful”, energetically sings Sia in the chorus of the newly-released “Unstoppable”. However, she sings “You’ll never see what’s hiding out / Hiding out deep down, yeah, yeah” in the verses. So you can see here the vulnerability I was talking about above.

Very solid track. Can’t really get why any artist would reject this song. Fools!
