This has to be one of the most repulsive artworks I’ve ever seen, but what a great track! This I can’t deny.
Australian singer Sia premiered moments ago on VEVO the official audio of a new song called “Bird Set Free”, which will appear on her forthcoming seventh studio album “This Is Acting” that is set for global release on January 29th, 2016 via RCA Records. You will receive this new track as free download if you pre-order Sia’s new album starting tomorrow, November 4th on iTunes.
The repulsive cover art of “Bird Set Free” shows a young boy wearing a Sia wig and showing us his hairy armpit. Ew!

As for the song itself, it is stunning and my favorite song out of the “This Is Acting” era so far! “Alive” was just too screechy and it got old really fast.
“I shout it out like a bird set free / No I don't care if I sing off key”, sings Sia in the empowering chorus of her new countdown single. She says in the song that she doesn’t give an F*** about what people think about her, her image or the way she sings. She’s the best version of herself, and she stays true to her essence all the time. What a powerful chorus! Could this be the best thing she’s released since “Chandelier”? I say make "Bird Set Free" an official single, pretty please!
