World Premiere: OneRepublic - "Wherever I Go" [Full Audio + Review]
OneRepublic have just unveiled their new single called "Wherever I Go". The Miike Snow-influenced song, which premiered via iHeartRadio today (May 12), a day before its scheduled release on iTunes, is the confirmed lead single from the Ryan Tedder-led band's forthcoming fourth studio album, due in stores later this year via Interscope.
On the song Ryan recently said: "I’ve been a long time fan of Miike Snow, so you’ll probably hear a little hint of that kind of melody, you know, it’s very different – the highest notes I’ve ever sang in my life are in this record".
This is unlike anything OneRepublic's recorded in the past! And I love it! Production is EVERYTHING - it's fresh, and it's exciting. And THAT combined with Ryan's perfect, on-the-money vocals offers a killer equation.
"Wherever I Go" will be serviced to Top 40 radio in two weeks.
