YES MARTIN! Slay my body and soul with that killer DROP!

The young Dutch DJ premiered via Spotify today (July 28) a new single of his called “In The Name Of Love” featuring “No Broken Hearts” chanteuse Bebe Rexha. No official word yet whether this track is an official single from an upcoming new studio album from Martin Garrix or if it’s just a one-off summer single for the fans. Either way, thank you for it, Martin. No doubt my summer will be better thanks to “In The Name Of Love”.

Co-written by Bebe Rexha I suppose (for she is an incredible songwriter and I don’t think she’d be okay with singing something that she didn’t write at least partially), “In The Name Of Love” is a mid-tempo EDM track that turns really uptempo when the DROP after each chorus comes. “If I told you we could bathe in all the lights / Would you rise up, come and meet me in the sky?”, sings BEBE in the second verse of Martin Garrix’s new single. This is my favorite lyric of the entire song. So poetic and nice!

In The Name Of Love” is a song where Bebe Rexha asks the guy she’s in love with to be brave and accept to be her other half - for love may be scary and hurtful at times, but in the end happiness and pure joy rise on top.

Oh, the drop. THE DROP. Someone is hitting the club tonight and it is me!

Hit or Miss?
