World Premiere: Little Mix - “You Gotta Not”: Full Audio + Review
Behold the first countdown single from Little Mix’s upcoming fourth studio album “Glory Days”. The song titled “You Gotta Not” has gotten the honor of being the first countdown single of this new era and it is available for streaming right now on Spotify. It will be up for purchase, or free download if you pre-order “Glory Days”, starting tomorrow, October 28th, on iTunes. The new Little Mix album will be hitting stores in the UK and elsewhere on November 18th. And as you can see, since there’s only a month and half left till the LP drops, the promotion machinery has got to start functioning, and countdown singles are a nice way to create “hype”.
“You Gotta Not” is a synth-dancehall track, very fun and up-tempo, where the Little Mix girls basically say that hell no they are not into lazy, jobless, immature, childish men or men that still wear whitey-tightys. And spend the whole song calling them out. My "favorite" lyric? “I need a man, a man who can act like a man”. Ehhh… okay…?

Having heard the lead single “Shout Out to My Ex”, I was not expecting something as fun, and dancehall-ish as “You Gotta Not”. I’m happily surprised. But, am I wrong for liking “You Gotta Not” more than the “Shout Out to My Ex”? lol #choices
Hit or Miss?
