World Premiere: Ellie Goulding - "Keep On Dancin'" [Full Audio / Review]
Ellie Goulding promised to premiere a bunch of songs from “Delirium” on radios around the world before November 6th, the day her new studio album hits stores, and Ellie is keeping her word! Tonight, November 2nd, Annie Mac world premiered under the title of “Hottest Record” the Ellie song “Keep On Dancin'" - track no. 4 from “Delirium”, and produced by Greg Kurstin - on her BBC Radio 1 show.
“Keep On Dancin'” is essentially a calm song, with very laidback vocals by Ellie, but after each chorus madness comes, for Greg Kurstin has added a powerful whisper-y electro-pop beat break that slays! Only because of this little part of the song, I hope some famous DJ decides to make a clubby remix of “Keep On Dancin’” and turns it into a bona-fide dance floor hit. I mean, it’s already got the name!
“I keep raising glasses / Because I only have today”, sings Ellie in the opening verse of “Keep On Dancin’”. She says in the song that at least for a day she won’t care about the problems of the world, she won’t lose time chatting, among many other non-senses, for she just wants to dance non-stop and be the center of the universe, as life is very short, she reminds us.
