World Premiere: Britney Spears - "Clumsy" [Full Audio + Review]

britney clumsy

Britney Spears knows she’s being a fool, she’s being clumsy for making the same mistake and ending up in the bedroom with this guy, but apparently this is a mistake she’s happy to make again and again.

The princess of pop released as scheduled on Wednesday midnight (Aug. 10) a brand new song from her upcoming ninth studio album “Glory” on Spotify and iTunes. “Clumsy” is co-written by Talay Riley and co-produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (of Pop & Oak) and Alex Nice.

Call me a fool, call me insane / But don’t call it a day / Never told a soul about what we’ve done”, sings Brit Brit in her new countdown single “Clumsy” - a song that can be described as an “energetic club jam”, but unfortunately a dated-sounding one. Or do yo really believe “Clumsy” sounds current?

I do enjoy the electronic beat drop in this song, and all of Britney’s ad-libs, but all in all “Clumsy” sounds a bit “meh” to me. It doesn’t make me excited at all. Really hoping the other stuff on “Glory” is much better.

Hit or Miss?
