The “Taki Taki” music video arrived in the late night hours of Tuesday (Oct. 9) on YouTube. Directed by Colin Tilley, the “Taki Taki” visual, starring DJ Snake, Ozuna, Cardi B and Selena Gomez, has garnered over 3 million views as of the writing of this post (just over 12 hours after the worldwide premiere). So yeah, this music video is en route to become one of the most-viewed ones of 2018 for sure. But that ain’t that much of a surprise, the music video for a song where both Cardi B and Selena Gomez are featured is destined for massive popularity.

The “Taki Taki” music video is “dark” one, kind of like it was shot in hell or in netherworld, and it sees Ozuna singing as he is caressed by multiple sexy women on the floor, Cardi B rapping fiercely and looking as if she was the guardian of hell, and Selena Gomez – here is the confusing part – singing from a sunny jungle setting. WTF? (lol). This scene threw me off a little. Weren’t we in hell? So what is Selena doing in the jungle? She deserved a “dark” scenes too like the other artists! I’m so mad. I know she would have slayed the “hell” scenes.

Summing it up, I loved the video, it has great replay value, it’s definitely going to help “Taki Taki” keep rising on the charts, and my only critique would be: why so much DJ Snake? If you don’t sing in the song, just resign yourself to do a tiny cameo. I found it that DJ Snake kind of ruined Ozuna’s first verse scenes. We saw more of DJ Snake than Ozuna. And that wasn’t cute!
