WATCH: Christina Aguilera Performs on 'Jay Leno' & Ne-Yo on 'Letterman'
Christina Aguilera stopped by 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC last night to deliver the first performance ever of "Bound To You", a song included in the soundtrack of Xtina's upcoming film "Burlesque". The soundtrack is out on November 22nd and the motion picture hits theaters two days later. Christina gave a SOLID performance on 'Jay Leno'. Everything was perfect, well, all except the hair lol. Aguilera's vocals were pure brilliant. "Bound To You" is a pretty ballad that Christina sings like no other but I'm not sure if it was the correct song to promote the movie. I personally don't think it reflects the true spirit of "Burlesque", atleast not the sassy/fun side I saw in the trailer. This performance doesn't make me think 'shoot! I'm going to see this movie without a doubt!'. Christina or the film promoter should have opted to perform something more uptempo with a cool choreography.
R&B crooner performed his latest single "One In A Million" on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' on Wednesday. Very nice presentation. Similar to the ones he's done in other TV shows but it's still cool to watch. Ne-Yo sings the midtempo ballad pretty well plus his showmanship cannot be denied.
