Watch Charlie Puth Cover Katy’s “Bon Appetit”, It Will Make Your Day!
Everybody knew there was something wrong with Katy Perry’s “Bon Appetit” single. But maybe it wasn’t the creepy lyrics after all, perhaps it was something else, and something we just discovered today. We’ve been blind for so long! What perhaps the problem of the song was was Katy Perry! Maybe the song wasn’t meant for her to sing it in the first place. Maybe her delivery was what made the song be a flop. How do I know all of this? Check out the cover of “Bon Appetit” Charlie Puth did today for BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge” and tell me to my face that you wouldn’t fight for this song, in this version, to be worldwide super hit.

“Bon Appetit” in acoustic and sung in this unique Charlie Puth way sounds like a complete different song, for good. Charlie made “Bon Appetit” his own and he took it to a place I just didn’t think this song could be taken. I’m living, and I just got the idea that maybe Katy should re-record “Bon Appetit” acoustic style and bring Charlie as a collaborator!!! DO IT!
By the way, who else couldn’t but crack a laugh at every dramatic facial expression from Charlie during this performance? LOL. Charlie we love you and I know these expressions must be produced in order for you to hit the note and better convey the emotion of what you’re singing, but they’re just hilarious.
