Macklemore serves drug withdrawal realness in the official “Drug Dealer” music video that premiered tonight (Oct. 25) on YouTube.
The Seattle rapper released this self-produced track where he talks about his drug addiction past earlier this month via SoundCloud.
Director Jason Koenig was the one responsible for giving this powerful song the music video treatment.
The “Drug Dealer” music video sees Macklemore crying on the shower floor as water pours down on him, experiencing excruciating pain on the bed, and rapping his soul out while serving serious withdrawal face in a dark room. Chorus girl Ariana DeBoo makes her appearance literally buried in a sea of pills.
