Video: Fergie Rings The Bell At NYSE! Where Is Her Second Album, Though?
Fergie continues making public appearances but still there are no new updates on her much-anticipated second album, which the singer confirmed to be happening on an interview with Ryan Seacrest in January.
The 'London Bridge' star stopped by the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday (April 23) to ring the closing bell alongside the board of executives of 'Brown Show'. The footwear company celebrated yesterday 100 years listing on the NYSE. And Fergie was there because because 'Brown Shoe' helped her establish her own line of footwear. Anyway, I'm not that interested in Fergie ringing the bell at NYSE or her shoe lines, I'm interested in her second solo album. It's been way too long since 'The Dutchess'! Fergie confirmed album #2 would happen while interviewed by Ryan Seacrest early this year.
"[Will.i.am] knows that I want to do a solo album next, I think everyone knows that," Fergie told the KIIS FM host. "The Dutchess was comprised of songs that were from a seven year period and a lot of people don't know that. I've been writing down my ideas. I've been just in my cave, my little creative cave, and the ideas come when they come and that's the beauty of it -- so not forced. So when I do come out with my album, I'm going to be really proud of it."
So where is it? She been writing and writing ideas but still no studio record has materialized? Where is will.i.am? I really hope we get some news this year, and a new single confirmation before 2014 ends. Otherwise, all of Fergie fans will be very upset.
