Watch: Eminem Releases Teaser For 'Headlights' Video Premiering Mother's Day

Eminem and Spike Lee

Eminem has chosen the Nate Ruess-assisted track 'Headlights' as the next single from his current album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' and looks to raise the already high buzz by releasing a music video. Today the Detroit rapper returns and drops a 50 second-long teaser for the video, which is scheduled to premiere in full this upcoming Sunday on Mother's Day (May 11th).

If you're curious as to why Spike Lee is featured in the teaser, the New York director flew out to Detroit early last month to meet up with Eminem and shoot the 'Headlights' music video. In the teaser, he speaks on the narrative they put together for the track and mentions the visual was shot in Eminem's old residency of 8 Mile.

'Headlights' is set to be the fifth single from Em's double platinum album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'. His last one, 'The Monster' featuring Rihanna, charted No.1 in over 12 countries. Check back with us on Sunday for the full 'Headlights' music video and watch the teaser above.
