[Video] Ariana Grande Performs National Anthem At NFL Season Opener
Ariana Grande kicked off the NFL season on a positive note with the performance of the United States national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner. Televised on national television via NBC, the 'My Everything' singer walked out to the middle of the field and showcased her vocals to countless viewers and attendees.
Immediately after performing the national anthem, Ariana took to Twitter to interact with the Seattle Seahawks account. She corrected them on the lyrics they tweeted out, thanked them, and wished the team good luck on the game. It's clear who the 21-year old artist is rooting for as she was even wearing a Seahawks jersey during the performance.
Ariana Grande's sophomore album 'My Everything' is in stores now. The highly anticipated LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and topped iTunes charts in 85 countries. She also set the Spotify record for most streams by a female artist in 2014.
