[Video] Ariana Grande Performs "Bang Bang" ALONE & "Break Your Heart Right Back” on "The Today Show"
Ariana Grande is celebrating this week the release of her second album “My Everything” – which is expected to debut atop the Billboard Top 200 with sales of 150-170k. She's been performing on multiple television shows ever since the 2014 VMAs, with her latest stop being this morning on "The Today Show". Ariana took control the stage at Rockefeller Plaza to perform a four-song mini-concert.
She did; “Problem”, “Break Free”, performed for the first time ever on TV "Break Your Heart Right Back” (with Childish Gambino supporting Ariana on stage), and she also performed ALONE Jessie J's hit song "Bang Bang". Matt Lauer interviewed the pint-sized singer at Rockefeller Plaza but she was also interviewed inside the NBC studios where she unexpectedly shared the panel table with her Noni! (her adorable grandmother). Did you know Ariana is a vegan? She talked about it in the in-studio chat.
Although, she still needs to check her LIVE fashion choices, Ariana vocally slayed her "The Today Show" concert on Friday, August 29. "Break Your Heart Right Back” was my favourite performance of the four as this was the first TV performance of the song, and as it is one of my new favorites on "My Everything". Just love true R&B Ariana sounds in it! The SOLO "Bang Bang" performance was awkward (as both Jessie J and Nicki Minaj were missing) but it looked cute in the end…right?
