Union J - 'Carry You' (Music Video)
Union J look happy to have met each other and to be in this boyband-journey together in the music video for "Carry You", the first single from their upcoming debut studio album.
The song has grown on me a lot. I still see it as a one-week #1 hit in the UK, but not as a long-lasting hit. A good music video could've changed that, but seems Union J's record label think the song doesn't deserve much of a high-budget MV. Maybe they're saving money for the next videos? Who knows! The clip for "Carry You" is a lil' cheap and a lil' dull, but whatever. It shows, Jaymi, George, JJ and Josh making 'bonding' efforts such as getting haircuts, or clothes shopping and skateboarding together. The video includes as well scenes of Union J performing the uplifting, friendship-inspired Steve Mac-produced pop song at an 'Open Mic' event before tens of already-in-the-bag fans. Union J won't officially release "Carry You" on iTunes until June 2. A whole month of full promotion, then?.
