“The lyrics of "Permanent Ink" are very sentimental and can mean different things to different people. It could be about the emotional connection you have with a loved one in your life right now, or about someone special you have lost. Either way, the beauty of the song is that paints a picture of a deep and lasting love.”
Two Story Road is a Nashville-based husband and wife country duo. Brandon, who started his musical journey writing for Sony Music Publishing, and Jamelle, who spent five years singing background vocals for country diva Carrie Underwood, have achieved many cool things in their short career as a duo like selling out their CMA Fest Fan Parties in under an hour 3 years in a row, or in 2014 winning the “Must Follow Duo” award (over 250,000 votes cast for the duo category), sponsored by CMChat, beating out the likes of Florida Georgia Line, Thompson Square, or Dan+Shay (say what!?). In 2015, they finally saw one of their dreams come true; to release a musical set for their loyal fans – the 6-song “Two Story Road” EP. And they were supported by none other than country producer giant Mark Bright (Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts), who stepped in to be the executive producer for the EP – after hearing the gigantic buzz in Nashville surrounding this rising duo.
The Huffington Post recently included Two Story Road on their list of “Top 20 Country Artists to Watch in 2016”, and Whiskey Riff listed them as one of their “11 Artists To Look Out For In 2016”. Big, huh?
