Troye Sivan’s Ballad “Revelation” Is Too Beautiful & Perfect: Song Premiere
Wow! This is a very beautiful song. Bravo to you, Troye Sivan!
The Australian singer-songwriter has contributed to the soundtrack of the upcoming gay drama film “Boy Erased” with a song called “Revelation”. Why the contribution? Well, mainly because Troye has an acting role in this movie! “Boy Erased”, starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Joel Edgerton and Russell Crowe, opens in theaters on November 2. “You're a revelation / Won't you liberate me now / From a whole new world / You're a revolution”, sings Troye in this beautiful and emotional peaceful piano ballad. The lyrics definitely go in sync with the film’s storyline, Troye sings it so well, and that production is literally heavenly.
The plot of “Boy Erased” is: Jared Eamons (Lucas Hedges), the son of a Baptist pastor in a small American town, is outed to his parents (Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe) as gay at the age of 19. Jared is quickly pressured into attending a gay conversion therapy program – or else be shunned by his family, friends, and church. It is within the program that Jared comes into conflict with its head therapist (Joel Edgerton)
