Travis Scott Drops Two New Songs: "Wonderful" ft. The Weeknd & "A-Team" [Stream]
Rapper Travis Scott wants to end 2015 giving fans new music.
The Houston, Texas artist premiered in the early hours of today, December 31st – the last day of 2015 – a brand new song titled “Wonderful” via SoundCloud. The vocoder-heavy hip-hop jam is co-produced by T-Minus and Boi-1da and features "The Hills" star The Weeknd. Does this song sound a bit too familiar to you? That’s because a demo of this same song sung by the fierce Tinashe leaked in the summer of 2014 under the title of “In the Meantime”. Apparently Travis had previewed a snippet of “Wonderful” at a concert of his earlier this month but at that time nobody knew neither the title of the song nor that it featured Canadian crooner The Weeknd.
2015 was a good year for Travis Scott for this was the year he finally saw his dream of releasing his debut album (“Rodeo”) come true. By the way, in “Rodeo” there’s also a collaboration with The Weekend, “Pray 4 Love”. It seems the two became real good buddies after hitting the recording studio back then, because scoring a ‘collab’ with The Weeknd nowadays is a hard job.
