The Saturdays Perform For Radio 1's 'Live Lounge'
The Saturdays are finally on 'heavy promotion' mode of their new single "Notorious", which officially 'hit the streets' in the UK on Monday (June 20th), following a digital-only release back in May - Since this is the real important release week, The Sats have booked a series of live performances in different UK shows to promote the amazing/catchy Steve Mac-produced electro-pop single. The ladies' first stop was on BBC's Radio 1 on Tuesday to do an acoustic set on the 'Live Lounge'. Vanessa, Una, Mollie, Rochelle and Frankie performed a stellar rendition of "Notorious" - great harmonies! - as well as a cover mashup of Aloe Blacc's "I Need A Dollar" with a bit of Mann's "Buzzin'". Loved it! I hope "Notorious" gives the girls a new Top 10 hit.
