The Saturdays & Mary J Blige Visit 'Alan Carr'

UK pop girlband The Saturdays delivered the first televised performance of their brand new single, the power ballad "My Heart Takes Over" on Channel 4's 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' show on Sunday night (November 6th) - The Steve Mac-produced track serves as the third official offering from The Sats' upcoming album "On Your Radar" which will hit stores in Britain on November 21st, while "My Heart Takes Over" will be officially released there two weeks earlier, on November 13th. The Saturdays have no tough competition that week to try and fight for their first No.1 but everything will depend on the sales of the big current hits; e.g Rihanna's "We Found Love", which might have steady strong sales for quite a while. Still fingers crossed for the girls! They already deserve it! Btw, The Sats' My Heart Takes Over" performance last night was sublime! Although Mollie, Una and Frankie really needed to step back a 1 meter, and simply do the adlibs, and backup vocals for Rochelle and Vanessa who were the real, and ONLY singers, lol.

Also on Sunday's show, R&B diva Mary J. Blige sat down to have a chat with Alan Carr. The 'Mr Wrong' singer has been these days in the UK promoting her new album "My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act 1)" (November 21st). During the *hilarious* 10-minute interview, Mary confirmed 'The Voice UK' execs have approached her to be a judge, although nothing's signed yet, talked about a singing competition called "Star Search" from back in day, her friendship with P.Diddy, and shared deets on her mysterious rapper alter-ego Brook-Lynn. Alan had Mary crying of laugh! She's so guetto I love it. Big LOL too when Alan referred to Mary's new album cover as something from 'The Lion King' xD.
