The Day Kesha Wanted To Crawl Under A Rock: Gets Denied Hug by Jerry Seinfeld 3 Times [VIDEO]
Now that Kesha was recovering from all the drama, negativity and torment from the Dr. Luke, and RCA Records animosity cases, she suffers a new low blow: to be publicly embarrassed, and in a very awful way. Had it been me who had went through this situation, I would lock myself in my cabin in the woods for a month of two.
Actor Jerry Seinfeld, from the legendary “Seinfeld” sitcom, and “Tik Tok” singer Kesha were both guests at The David Lynch Foundation's National Night of Laughter and Song event on Monday night (June 6) in Washington, DC. And while being interviewed by the host of 94.7 Fresh FM's “The Tommy Show” on the red carpet, Jerry Seinfeld was interrupted halfway by a starstruck Kesha who only wanted to give one of her icons a big hug. Jerry’s response? He denied her the hug three times.
Kesha: “Can I give you a hug”?
Jerry: “No, thanks”.
Kesha: “Please?”
Jerry: “No, thanks”.
Kesha: “A little one?”
Jerry: “No, thanks”.

Jerry, continuing the interview, said that he didn’t know who she was, hence not giving her the hug she wanted. The reporter then told him “that was Kesha”. Jerry, evidently still now knowing who she was, wrapped it up with a: “Oh ok, I wish her the best”.

The embarrassment was real. And poor Kesha is going to suffer a lot I know when she sees her humiliation spread all over the blogs and social media. If I were Jerry, I would publicly apologize and try to remedy, at least a little, all the horrible things Kesha must be feeling right now. I know he wouldn’t need to apologize, the guy honestly didn’t know her, he must’ve though she was a crazy person who had crashed the event, but I’m sure know he knows who she is, that he inflicted terrible pain on her, and that he should do something. A tiny gesture would do, man.
