It’s over. Taylor Swift played the last concert of the US leg of her “1989 World Tour” last night, October 31st - Halloween Day - in Tampa, Florida. So you get the idea of how long this US leg has been, the first show was back in mid-May in Las Vegas.
Given this was the last show on US soil, it was evident Taylor was going to have guest stars. And that was exactly what happened! First, Taylor brought on stage at the Raymond James Stadium Idina Menzel, the singer of “Let It Go”, and there, alongside Taylor, she performed the hit of “Frozen”. It was very impressing to see 66,000 people singing the chorus of “Let It Go” at the same!
A little bit later in the show, Alessia Cara became the second guest in Tampa. Taylor and the rising Canadian star performed “Here”, from Alessia’s forthcoming debut “Know-It-All”, which arrives in stores on November 6th. Taylor gave her all when the time came for her to sing the second verse of “Here”! Undoubtedly, this was a very emotional experience for her. Remember that tweet that she posted a few months ago praising Alessia’s “Four Pink Walls” EP?
