Taylor Swift and Emeli Sandé Perform "Next To Me" at London's The O2 Arena
In the second-to-last of her five shows at The O2 Arena in London as part of her "Red" tour, Taylor Swift brought on stage Emeli Sandé (also known as "the lady in green who sang at the 2012 London Olympics") to perform together the powerful hit "Next to Me", a UK Top 2 smash off of Sandé's "Our Version of Events" debut album. By far, this has to be my favorite "surprise performance with guest" from Taylor's London trek thus far. "Next to Me" is an absolute perfect song. It was good to see Taylor acknowledge the gigantic talent and songwriting ability of Emeli by asking her to sing this song together on Monday night (Feb. 10) and with that introduction speech. And it was good too Taylor let Emeli sang pretty much all of the song. Only she can nail it.
