Taio Cruz & Travie McCoy - Higher (Music Video!)
Taio Cruz recently premiered via VEVO the music video for "Higher", the latest single from "Rockstarr", featuring the version with Travie McCoy. Last month we could see the cut of the Alex Herron-directed clip featuring Kylie Minogue which was the 'single mix' for the UK. Travie McCoy - well known in America for his work with Gym Class Hero and his monster hit "Billionaire" - was for Taio the perfect candidate for the US release of "Higher". As I previously commented, I think the version with Kylie is the hottest from both edits. The Australian diva adds a new 'air' to the tune, her sassiness, and overall she blends well with "Higher". And the version with Travie...well...it adds pretty much nothing, although I like the guy...If I were Taio I would have continued the female feature thing and would have picked Wynter Gordon for that role in the US. Anyways, the new version of the "Higher" music video featuring Mr McCoy is similar (almost the same) to the original version however they add new angles as well as some new scenes.
