Song Premiere: Jessie J - "Personal" (Written by Elle Varner)
OK, I get it, Jessie J. We do what we when we do what we do. Get it too? The British songbird gets a little too "Personal" on the first iTunes countdown single to be released from "Sweet Talker". The new Jessie J album is out October 13th.
Co-written by "Only Wanna Give It to You" singer Elle Varner, "Personal" is a mid-tempo ballad where Jessie J reflects about the lies and the foolish acts we sometimes make when we're in a relationship. "Cause I told myself that I love you, though I know it's a lie", sings a confused Jessie J in "Personal". I'm sure many people will be able to relate to this song, and overall I like it, although I just think those "what we do" moments are really silly and make the ballad look less serious.
