Sia Slays "Reaper" on 'GMA': Watch The Maddie-Less Yet Epic Performance!
Yesterday morning (Jan. 29) the one and only Sia made an appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to deliver a new live performance of one of her songs from her seventh album “This Is Acting” which also arrived in stores yesterday.
If the night before Sia surprised fans by delivering the first live performance of “Cheap Thrills” on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show”, the Australian singer-songwriter wanted the surprises to keep coming… for yesterday she performed for the very first time anywhere the song “Reaper”, another Kanye West-co-written/ produced track that was originally intended for Rihanna and “ANTI”.
For her “GMA” performance, Sia, wearing a sassy short red dress and a ridiculously gigantic bow as headpiece, stood in the back belting out “Reaper” as two male dancers executed a cotemporary dance routine around a medium-sized table. It sucked little Maddie wasn’t in this performance but it’s true she can’t be in every Sia TV performance. She also deserves a break. The two guys really killed it, though.
My favorite thing about this performance was Sia’s vocals, though. Just like the album, and so powerful and real.
