[Must Be A Single!] Sia Gives First “Cheap Thrills” Performance On ‘Jimmy Fallon’: Watch

Sia was a guest on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” last night (Jan. 27) on NBC. The Australian singer-songwriter has already begun the TV tour in America to promote her seventh studio album “This Is Acting” which officially comes out tomorrow, January 29th, thanks to Sony’s RCA Records.

At last night’s “Tonight Show” appearance, Sia participated in a musical skit with Jimmy Fallon, Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman and The Roots where the objective was to perform the legendary “Iko Iko” only using rudimental objects (cups, deck of cards, spoons, blocks, etc). Sia of course provided the vocals.

Later on last night’s episode, the Australian chanteuse hit the side stage of “The Tonight Show”, wearing a winter-ish short dress, her black/blonde bob wig and a gigantic bow as headpiece, to deliver the first live performance ever of “Cheap Thrills”, one of the stand-out songs from “This Is Acting” and a song that was originally written for Rihanna and her “ANTI” album. As expected, Sia smashed the performance with her powerful and well-controlled vocals. Making the performance look more interesting to watch, Sia had three dancers – one of them being little Maddie I think – perform a contemporary routine in front of her as she stood on a medium-sized platform. The dancers had the right move for every lyric/beat of the song.

Should Sia make "Cheap Thrills" an official single?
