Shakira Visits Lopez Tonight!
Colombian pop star Shakira stopped by Lopez Tonight on TBS (USA) on Monday - The "Loca" singer is currently promoting stateside her brand new bilingual album "Sale El Sol" which is in stores NOW - Shaki sit down for a chat with show host George Lopez where she discussed from the "Loca" video original concept, her driving at age 15 with a fake license, her World Cup hit "Waka Waka" to her new tour and album. Really nice interview and I simply love Shakira's personality and the way she conveys what she wants to say. She looked beautiful as well. However...I cannot understand she kinda wasted a perfect opportunity to promote her new single "Loca" with a performance. Why only an interview and no live show? Me don't understand. Perhaps she doesn't want to promote the song on American 'English' television and only on Latin networks? Because "Loca" is doing a great job on Billboard's Latin Singles Chart and in many European countries. Anyways...remember Shakira is a confirmed performer at this year's MTV EMAs to be held in Madrid, Spain on November 7th. I'm expeciting a 'Loca/Waka Waka' medley.
