Shakira Tells Her Love Story In “Me Enamoré”: Single Premiere!

Colombian diva Shakira has a new single out, a Spanish one called "Me Enamoré" (translates for "I fell in love"). Will it be part of an upcoming studio album? No doubt about it! Will the album be entirely in Spanish or bilingual? That's yet to be revealed by Shakira. But hopefully bilingual!
"Me Enamoré" is a song inspired by the time when Shakira first met her current beau Gerard Piqué - the hottest player in Spain's F.C Barcelona soccer team. The two met in the days of "Waka Waka" and the 2010 FIFA World Cup (held in South Africa).
In the song, which boasts a synth-Latin upbeat production with a lot of festive drums, Shakira says things like "I saw you so alone, and I just had to go for you". Funny enough, Gerard Piqué was dating someone else when Shakira "went" for him. So "so alone" he was not, lol. Anyway, "Me Enamoré" is super cute, it's feel-good, it's a love anthem for those of us who speak Spanish and it's got an infectious beat! No doubt this will be another major hit for Shakira. Would have for her to have stayed consistent with the sound of "Chantaje", though. She sounded so hot in that reggaeton-ish vibe, but whatever. Her new album will be very eclectic then!
