Shakira: "I'll Start Recording My New Album In December" (Number 11th Is Confirmed & Coming!)
During a press conference to promote her latest fragrance “Love Rock! By Shakira” this week, the “Can’t Remember To Forget You” singer confirmed plans to start recording her new album (it would be number 11 for her) this December. And if my math ain’t wrong, if Shakira start recording songs for her next album this December it would mean the Colombian diva’s new project could be ready for release by the end of 2016 – please RCA, don’t hold the LP too long!
“It’s a whirlwind that completely absorbs you”, said Shakira at the press conference when speaking on the recording process of a new album.
Shak is finally able to focus on making new music as her second son Sasha is already 10 months old and a nanny can totally take care of him now and his big brother Milan as well.
What will the sound of Shakira’s new album be? I wanna know! I’m so intrigued! Whatever the genre she chooses for 2014’s “Shakira” follow-up, I bet it’ll be filled with many radio-friendly songs. Fingers crossed we get to hear the first single in the summer of next year and it is an uptempo. Maybe Shakira can get another major artist (remember Rihanna?) for her next first single? Exciting!
