Shakira Confirms Pregnancy

The latest pics of her showed the obvious, that Shakira's bump is getting bigger. Her pregnancy was known by many, and I'm thinking the 'Get It Started' singer is at least of 3 months (the risk margin is now cleared). I said this because her father William Mebarak in a way confirmed the news during an interview for a Latino network in June, by saying; "Hopefully it all becomes official soon" with a big smile. He then denied he 'confirmed' anything, but those words were enough to me. My theory is Shakira didn't want to say anything herself because the first three months of pregnancy are the hardest and it was possible she could lose the baby (as many first-time mothers do). So announcing the news now confirms Shakira and Gerard's baby is healthy, and will be born in early 2013 (as I estimate). However, although this is good news for her, and she deserves only happiness, it sucks for her music fans. The pregnancy will mean delaying all promotion for her upcoming studio album. She already had a first single picked called "I Dare You", with its music video ready to go too (it was filmed in Portugal during the summer), so Shakira fans, so sorry, but don't expect to hear the single until the first quarter of 2013 when Shakira will be ready to get back to work. Oh well! "I Dare You" will be a hit not matter what though. The leaked previews give no doubts.
