Shakira Announces New Spanish Single "Me Enamoré", Out Friday!
Shakira is releasing a brand new single! But hold on, it’ll be in Spanish. Yeah… but it’s better than nothing, guys! Surely one in English will follow very, very soon (it’s already long overdue!).
Entitled “Me Enamoré” (in English: I fell in love), the existence of the new single was unveiled today when tens of select fans and official fansites received postcards from Shakira containing the artwork of the new single and a brief message explaining the story behind the title: “It’s about a moment in my life when I was so in love that I literally felt I was climbing trees”. Yep, hence that artwork with Shakira hugging a tree branch while up on it.

Shakira didn’t say on the postcard, but radio DJs have confirmed “Me Enamoré” will premiere this Friday, April 7th. And even a tiny snippet has surfaced online already (it's upbeat, Latin and it's got drums. Could top "Chantaje")! But it’ll be better to wait till Friday to hear the whole thing properly and most importantly in high quality.
