Shade? Lady Gaga Dances To Madonna’s “Express Yourself” at Super Bowl [Video]
Lady Gaga is really obsessed with her new Snapchat account she created yesterday, isn’t she? She started to spam her new followers (me included) like crazy starting Sunday morning (Feb. 7), however her snapchatting really reached obsessive levels during her time at the Super Bowl 2016 later that day. Yet, amid all the craziness she posted, there's something that deserves a post in this website. Let us focus on one of the two videos she uploaded of her dancing from the VIP lounge of the Levi's Stadium – located in a high level blessed with incredible views of the field.

Yeah. That was Lady Gaga bopping to Madonna’s “Express Yourself” *FAINTS*. Did she mistake it for “Born This Way” maybe? (Sorry, I just had to make this joke!).
“Express Yourself” is the song Madonna publicly accused Lady Gaga of ripping off to create her monster hit “Born This Way” (released in 2011). Madonna was serious about it. She was furious – despite her calm “reductive” remark in her viralized GMA interview where she was asked about the similarities of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” to one of her most famous songs. Lady Gaga has always denied the plagiarism claims (“If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It's the same one that has been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I'm the first fucking artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn't mean I'm a plagiarist, it means I'm fucking smart. Sorry.”), yet the controversy has prevailed. And here it is now Lady Gaga dancing her butt off to “Express Yourself” at the Super Bowl yesterday like nothing controversial ever happened. Was she being shady to make a friend record her dancing to this specific song and specifically uploading this dancing video to her Snapchat? WAS SHE!?
Oh, the other video she uploaded on Snapchat shot at the VIP lounge was one of her dancing to Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” while he was performing the song on the halftime show. See this one below:
