Selena Gomez Performs on Ellen!
Selena Gomez gave the first televised performance of her new single "A Year Without Rain" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier on Wednesday. La Gomez released yesterday her sophomore album of the same title so a new batch of promotion was in due course. I remeber reading this last weekend a few harsh reviews on Selena's gig at the LA County Fair commenting on her poor vocal performance, and exclaiming how in God's name did she get a record deal. Well, watching Selena's Ellen performance, I have to say it's true she probably doesn't have the best voice in the whole planet but she as any other person has the right to fulfill her dream of becoming a music star. Disney gave her the opportunity and she has definitely worked her way to success. Now, the vocal thing is another topic. Selena was out of tune at moments on Ellen today, and it's quite obvious she's not able to hit the high notes in the chorus as in the original studio version but hey atleast she tried her best. And she looked cute! All my support to her, and we just got to realize that the music industry is huge and everyone have different tastes.
