American Idol's Scotty McCreery & Lauren Alaina Premiere Their First Music Videos!
2011 American Idol winner Scotty McCreery and runner-up Lauren Alaina, have premiered via VEVO the music videos for their debut singles, "I Love You This Big" and "Like My Mother Does", respectively.
Both teen stars were immediately signed to 19 Recordings/Mercury Nashville after 'American Idol' ended, due to their obvious 'country' style, and are currently in the studio working on their respective debut albums. I personally was never a fan of Scotty McCreery and I think his song "I Love You This Big" is so BLAH, so let's skip him. However, Ms Lauren Alaina has superstar potential! She's a like a mix between Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, and that ain't bad! Pop crossover appeal right there! And unlike Scotty's, Lauren's debut single "Like My Mother Does" is right on the money! Sweet country music, with a 'traditional' sound, and moving lyrics and singing by Lauren. I cannot wait to hear her debut album, I know for sure it's gonna sh*t on Scotty's! Go Lauren! Oh, and her music video was the best out of the two too.
