Sara Bareilles - Uncharted (Music Video!)
Sara Bareilles premiered today (March 1st) her super awesome music video for "Uncharted", the second single lifted from her latest studio LP "Kaleidoscope Heart", which topped Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart when released last September in the US. "Uncharted", penned by Sara and produced by Neal Avron, becomes the follow-up single to "King of Anything" which peaked at #32 on the Hot 100 during the summer of 2010. You can't imagine how happy I am "Uncharted" is the next release! It's my favorite song on "Kaleidoscope Heart" and my favorite song of Sara ever. The lyrics, the melody, the vocals, the uplifting/feel-good vibe, all is simply amazing.
As for the recently VH1 premiered music video, it's actually pretty cool and different. Sara Barilles does not appear in it, I repeat, she DOES NOT appear on it, but instead the Laurent Briet-directed visual features footage of several celebrities such as Adam Levine, Pharrell, Vanessa Carlton, Ryan Tedder and even Internet sensation Keenan Cahill as well as fans of the singer lip-synching the lyrics to "Uncharted". It was cool! So excited to see this Sara song is so loved by others. I pray and pray "Uncharted" becomes Sara's 'breaking' single of this new era. This really deserves some Top 10 love. It's already a classic for me.
