Sara Bareilles - King of Anything (Music Video!)

Check out the premiere of Sara Bareilles's music video for "King of Anything". The Neal Avron production (Fall Out Boy, Plan White T's) serves as the first single from the American singer's forthcoming album "Kaleidoscope Heart" - in stores on September 7. The clip features Sara singing in a variety of places such as a restaurant, on a bus (accompanied by a brass band), in a music shop and finally in a garden. Cute video! With a few days of intense listen I can say I'm totally loving "King of Anything" now, a song with meaningful lyrics and cool piano-driven melody. And the single is doing pretty good, with not so much promotion done, nor the videoclip released yet, the song peaked last week #25 on iTunes USA. I'm expecting Top 15 atleast.

"King of Anything is sort of a 'f**k you' song," jokes Bareilles. "I've had more unsolicited advice on my life than I care to mention, and this was how I dealt with it. It felt empowering to turn that frustration into music, especially a song that doesn't even sound angry. That's sort of what 'Love Song' was as well. Apparently, I don't get over things very quickly."
