Sam Hunt’s New Song “Downtown’s Dead” Sounds Like A Hit: Premiere
Sam Hunt's first new song since "Body Like a Back Road" is called "Downtown's Dead". The 33-year-old country singer released this new single just minutes ago (May 16) on all digital platforms. Is Sam finally ready to give us the follow-up to his 2014 "Montevallo" debut album? I hope and pray! "Body Like a Back Road" (released in February 2017) was a very nice song that definitely helped calm down somewhat our urge for new Sam Hunt music (and it peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100) but the fact of still not getting his new album in 2017 was undoubtedly a bit of a disappointment. It looks like, though, 2018 will be the year Sam Hunt finally blesses us with his new full-length set. It's time, y'all!
So, I just gave "Downtown's Dead" a full first listen and I totally loved.
This sounds like another monster hit for Sam!!!
