Ryan Tedder - I Am Woman (Jordin Sparks Demo)
This is fun and weird at the same time! Check out the demo version to Jordin Sparks's latest (flop) single "I Am Woman", sung by its writer/producer Ryan Tedder - "I Am Flop" was intended to be the first single from pop singer Jordin Sparks' forthcoming third studio album, she even performed if you remember on American Idol this year, but as it was expected, the song tanked hard on the charts. I think it never passed the Top 80 mark on the Hot 100. Then, Jordin abandoned its promotion, and we haven't really gotten any new info on her album. I guess she's recording a new single or something...
In any case, I personally "liked" the song at the beginning, but after a couple of listens I started to hate it, lol. That wasn't a good sign...and my fears were confirmed when I saw how "I Am Woman" was underperforming, and probably jeopardizing Jordin's presence in Jive Records.
But here's Ryan to the rescue! His demo version of the track has recently surfaced online, and I must tell you it's a breath of fresh air! LOLz. It's really something! I liked the rockish, edgy sound he gives the song. But just hearing Ryan fiercely singing "It ain't easy walking in stilettos"....*dies*. He just made my day.
Who did it better? Jordin or Ryan?
