Rixton - "Me & My Broken Heart" [Music Video]
Rixton play a shady scam during a poker game with two 'mafiosos' in the music video for "Me and My Broken Heart". The Maroon 5-esque pop/rock mid-tempo is the second single from the UK-based band's forthcoming debut album. They recently signed to Scooter Braun's label (Justin Bieber's manager) who got them a distribution deal with Interscope. They're currently focusing on 'cracking' the U.S instead of their native country. Good move? Well, pop is an international thing, and they're fresh and fun!
"Me and My Broken Heart" sounds a lot more mature than their debut single "Make Out". It''s got a really enjoyable melody, and a great chorus. And there's no denying the Maroon 5 influence. And as for the song's official music video, each of the four Rixton members has the duty to recruit a female partner-in-crime to pull a shady scam on two 'mafia' men during a poker game in the middle of a box ring. Will they come out triumphant?
