Watch: Rihanna Shoots "Secret" Footage with Fans In Paris (Either R8 or Puma-Related!)
WTF was this? Rihanna just shot something allegedly R8-related in Paris this Thursday night (French time). It was near Trocadero, and in front of the Eiffel Tower. She was dressed in some sort of doctor’s outfit, and wearing long gloves too.
What she filmed was apparently a promo video for her album #8 era (or possibly for Puma? It's all very confusing at this point) that involved Rihanna running to the arms (literally) of tens of lucky fans previously chosen by her team through social media. Check out pics of the CRAZY Rihanna arrival (sat on her bodyguard's shoulders to avoid being killed by fans), and footage (thanks to a member of the #Navy) of the actual promo video shooting (looks cool! and how lucky was that fella who got to Rihanna first? Seems like she gave RiRi a big bear squeeze!).
The shooting was VERY quick and Rihanna left “the scene" very fast too. The hundreds of fans that had gathered there to see their “icon” worried the singer’s team a lot. That’s why the shooting had to be quick. Police, and the even the French army were on site!
Update: Rihanna just confirmed this was for an "editorial shoot".
