The new Rihanna music video for “American Oxygen” just premiered online and, uh-huh, it was a TIDAL exclusive. The new Jay-Z music streaming service is really trying to give Spotify a run for its money with all these exclusives.
About “AO”, you already know the deal about it. It's a song that was featured during the NCAA March Madness broadcasts, and that will appear on the upcoming Rihanna ‘R8’ album (everyone refers to it as ‘R8’ but an official title is yet to be unveiled. It might end up being called ‘R8’ though, but we have to wait).

“American Oxygen” is a patriotic song (evidently Rihanna doesn’t care she’s not American) and it had to have a patriotic music video. RiRi wears her leather jacket trying to look like a bad rocker girl as she mesmerizes the camera with her fierce eyes and sings “American Oxygen” with a huge USA flag as backdrop, and there are also scenes that include a bunch of old 'made in the USA' footage that includes: Obama’s first inauguration ceremony, a Martin Luther King Jr. speech, the recent revolts of the black community or footage from mankind’s first moon landing.
