Rihanna & Katy Perry: TV Promo in the UK!
Rihanna has been flying all around Europe these last weeks promoting her hit single "Only Girl (In The World)" and her upcoming album "LOUD!" - in stores on November 16th. The Bajan pop star had ONE last stop before leaving the continent though. That was on BBC 1's 'The Graham Norton Show' on Friday to give "Only Girl" one last promotional push due to the single climbing this week to the very top of the Singles Chart in the UK. Riri looked stunning in that long red gown, although the boots she was wearing kinda made a constrast lol. I've enjoyed all the "Only Girl" performances thus far (Well, let's just forget about the SNL one) and this gig on 'Graham Norton' was no exception. She delivered!
Katy Perry was also in the London on Friday to deliver a new televised performance of her new single "Firework". The pop superstar sang the Stargate-produced song live on ITV 1's 'The Paul O'Grady Show'. Katy looked really nice in that little outfit and vocally...well she did manage to hit the big notes in the chorus but the rest was ok-ish/bad. It seems she still doesn't find the right manner to perform "Firework" comfortably. Maybe a bit more help from the backup singers?. Anyways, the oh-so-amazing "Firework" has peaked thus far at #4 in the UK and at #10 in the US. It's doing amazing! New #1? :).
