Caliente! Mr. Prince Royce has just premiered the official Spanish remix to his newest single “Back It Up” featuring now, besides original collaborator Pitbull, the one and only Jennifer Lopez, and I hate to say it, Prince, but the song sounds a thousand times hotter in this language.

The 25-year-old singer from The Bronx is a superstar in the Latin world, however, this year Prince is expanding his “dominion” by releasing his debut English-language album - first two singles are “Stuck on a Feeling” (ft. Snoop Dogg) and “Back It Up” (ft. Pitbull). Yet it seems Mr. Royce isn’t leaving his Spanish-speaking fans to side. He may not be dropping a Spanish-language album in 2015 but nobody said anything about one or two singles. The first; a Spanish version of “Back It Up” featuring a surprising verse by J.Lo.

Everything about this remix is Spanish except for the chorus which for some strange reason Prince and/or the producer preferred to keep in English. Why, though? I’m sure there are words in the Spanish dictionary that can rhyme in the chorus. In any case, this Spanish version of “Back It Up” is FIRE, and I like it a lot more than the original in English. It just sounds and feels better. It’s truth, Prince. I know you’re trying to break into the English music market now but this “Back It Up” Spanish remix proves that you’re forte will always be the Spanish language.

PS: A music video for the Spanish remix has been shot with J.LO!!!
